Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and depart to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park-Uganda
Your tour will start from Entebbe at the hotel where your assigned professional tour driver-guide will receive you. Then, you’ll depart for Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. Bwindi is a big habitat for mountain gorillas in Uganda, harboring over 310 of them, which is almost half of the world’s gorilla population (54.9%). The drive will take you to southwest Uganda by road. You will cross the equator mark, then head to Mbarara city for lunch and refreshment. Thereafter, you will pass through the hilly terrain of western Uganda into Bwindi. You will reach in the afternoon and do nothing but only check in at the accommodation #optional Batwa Community Trial Extra $70 per person.

Day 2: Gorilla Habituation experience in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After breakfast, you’ll proceed to the rangers’ post. You will receive a briefing on the do’s and don’ts during the Gorilla Habituation experience.
Accompanied by a team of rangers, researchers, and trackers, you will trek deep into the forest in search of one of the semi-habituated gorilla families. Unlike standard gorilla trekking—which allows one hour of viewing—this exclusive experience grants up to four hours in the presence of the gorillas, witnessing and participating in their gradual acclimatization to human presence.
This immersive, once-in-a-lifetime activity is only available in Uganda and offers a rare opportunity to learn about gorilla behavior, conservation efforts, and the work of the Uganda Wildlife Authority.
After the trek, return to the lodge to rest and reflect on the extraordinary encounter.

Day 3:Transfer to Entebbe
After enjoying an early breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and begin your journey back to Kampala. You are expected to arrive in the late evening. Your guide will drop you off either at Entebbe International Airport for your flight or at your hotel depending on your preference.
