This tour takes you through Masai Mara National Reserve. Masai Mara which means “spotted ” in the local Maasai language is one of the most visited and most famous national reserves in Kenya. The journey takes you to experience the natural thrill of being in an African savanna. With luck on your side, you will definitely see all the Big Five animals such as lions, leopards, buffalo, elephants, and rhinos. It’s most famous for the annual wildebeest migration that happens from June to October.

This tour takes you through Masai Mara National Reserve. Masai Mara which means "spotted " in the local Maasai language is one of the most visited and most famous national reserves in Kenya. The journey takes you to experience the natural thrill of being in an African savanna. With luck on your side, you will definitely see all the Big Five animals such as lions, leopards, buffalo, elephants, and rhinos. It's most famous for the annual wildebeest migration that happens from June to October.

You will be picked up by our driver guide from your hotel or airport in Nairobi and drive to the world-famous Masai Mara with a brief stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint. Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch and check-in. In the afternoon, enjoy an enthralling game-viewing drive. Spotting lions, cheetahs and other spectacular predators is the highlight of your day (if luck is on your side). On this day, you can choose to go on a full-day game drive in the Mara with a picnic lunch or morning and afternoon game drives. Between the game drive, an optional visit (payments direct) to the local Maasai village is conducted. The trees in the distance might turn out to be a family of giraffes. Those clumps of bushes can turn into a pride of lions, and the rock that moves a rhino lumbering out of your way. With diligence and some luck, you may encounter a family of cheetahs or a herd of elephants crossing the path in front of you. Large animals are not the only entertainment—a family of warthogs may amuse you, running as fast as their little legs will carry them until they forget why they are rushing and stop to regroup. Depart after breakfast and drive back to Nairobi for lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, if time permits we can have a city tour and a complimentary visit to the Giraffe Center.
