Day1:Pick Up and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Your tour will start from Entebbe at the hotel where your assigned professional tour driver-guide will receive you. Then, you’ll depart for Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. Bwindi is a big habitat for mountain gorillas in Uganda, harboring over 310 of them, which is almost half of the world’s gorilla population (54.9%). The drive will take you to southwest Uganda by road. You will cross the equator mark, then head to Mbarara city for lunch and refreshment. Thereafter, you will pass through the hilly terrain of western Uganda into Bwindi. You will reach in the afternoon and do nothing but only check in at the accommodation #optional Batwa Community Trial Extra $70 per person.

Day 2:Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
After breakfast, proceed to the rangers’ post. You will receive a briefing on the do’s and don’ts during the trekking. You will then enter the Bwindi Forest for your adventure. The area offers a dramatic, steeply forested landscape and is incredibly dense. It is crisscrossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists. The time taken and the terrain vary with the movements of these great primates. Once you have located a gorilla group, you will be allowed an hour in their presence. The thrill of spending time observing these gentle but endangered giants is unforgettable. Later, transfer to Lake Bunyonyi. The drive is through a beautiful part of the country often referred to as ‘the Switzerland of Africa’ for its unique cool weather despite being near the Equator.
